Delete your HeartPin account
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This page is for people who use HeartPin, the app for two partners, and want to delete their account and the data that goes with it. HeartPin is provided by Seyfi Can Zeyrek, an individual developer in Türkiye, who publishes it under the name Morrowline.
Delete your account in the app
- Open HeartPin and go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete account at the bottom of the list.
- Read what will happen and confirm.
The deletion runs at once. If a step fails, the app tells you before your sign-in identity is removed, and you can try again. After the deletion the app starts over as a new install.
If you reinstalled HeartPin and it shows a Welcome back screen, Start fresh deletes the earlier account in the same way.
What is deleted
Your own data:
- Your profile: your name, your status and your profile photo.
- Your private settings: push tokens, notification choices, the record of the terms you accepted and your free-moment counter.
- Your stored location and the distance derived from it.
- The invitations you created.
- Your sign-in identity (the anonymous account).
Everything you added to a shared space, in your current pairing and in any pairing you left earlier:
- Notes you wrote, including sealed notes, and your reactions to your partner's notes.
- Your answers to the daily question and the questions you wrote yourselves.
- Miss-you pings and nudges, countdowns and events, check-ins and your entries in the activity list.
- Drawings, photos, widget pictures, portraits and place photos you uploaded.
- Places you added, and your name and photo on places your partner added.
- Game rounds you started or played.
- Your text and answers on shared widgets: the widgets stay for your partner without them.
If you were the only member of your space, the whole space and all its files are deleted.
After your account is deleted, we also ask RevenueCat, our subscription provider, to delete its record of you.
What is kept
- Your partner's own notes, answers, places, photos, drawings and other content.
- The shared pet with its care history and the streak, which belong to the space you shared.
- The number of free moments you used, which stays with your seat in the space so a new account cannot reset it.
- Purchase records held by Apple and Google, and the RevenueCat record if the request to delete it fails.
- Crash reports already sent to Google, which age out under Google's own retention settings.
- Content your partner's phone or widget already shows, until it refreshes.
- Emails you sent to our support address.
- Backups and server logs, for a limited period until they are overwritten.
Subscriptions
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription; cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you do not cancel, Apple or Google keeps billing you. Cancel on iPhone in your Apple account settings (App Store > Subscriptions), on Android in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not delete your account or cancel a subscription.
If you cannot open the app
Write to zeyrekseyfican@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" and include your support code. The support code is your account identifier: it is shown in the app under Settings > Support code, and it is added automatically to emails you start from Contact us. If you no longer have the code, tell us your name in the app, your partner's name and roughly when you paired; we may ask for more details that only the account holder knows before we act. If we cannot identify the account, we tell you.
We delete the account with the same process as the app and confirm by email within one month.
Questions about your data
For access to your data, correction, objection or any other request, write to zeyrekseyfican@gmail.com and include your support code. The privacy policy at https://heartpin.morrowline.app/en/privacy/ explains what we collect, how long we keep it and your rights.
